There are several programs in Canada through which you can obtain permanent residence by establishing or buying a business, expanding the operations of your existing business to Canada, or as a self-employed person.

Some of the entrepreneur programs are not specifically designed as a pathway to permanent residence; on the other hand, if you meet the eligibility criteria, you may be awarded additional points and apply for permanent residence along with your immediate family members.​

There are also federal and provincial business immigration programs that you might be eligible for.
