Burcu Akyol
(Pronounced /burju/)
Founder, Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC-IRB), Adjunct Professor at Queen’s University
Burcu is the heart behind Northern Pathways. She is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant and also serves as an adjunct professor in the Graduate Diploma in Immigration and Citizenship Law program at Queen’s University, Canada’s only English-language pathway to becoming a licensed immigration consultant.

A creative problem-solver and natural multitasker, Burcu is known for her sharp attention to detail, high energy, and deep commitment to doing things the right way. She brings both vision and compassion to her work, shaped by years of experience as a professional, an educator, and a mother of a 20-year-old son. She’s also a proud cat mom.

Burcu has been an active volunteer with the Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants (CAPIC) since the beginning of her career. She currently serves on CAPIC’s Board of Directors and is the Chair of the Policy Committee, where she contributes to advancing ethical and sustainable practices in the immigration consulting profession. Her work helps shape the future of the profession she deeply cares about.
TuÄŸsel brings over 25 years of experience in human resources, with a strong focus on training and development. Before moving to Canada, he ran his own company in Turkey, designing and delivering programs that supported professional growth and organizational learning.

He now works as a college professor in Canada, continuing his commitment to education and career development from a new perspective. He is also the founder of EduPathways Canada, our trusted solution partner for education
planning and international student support.
In addition to being a valued member of our team, TuÄŸsel is Burcu’s husband. Together, they share a vision for building ethical, client-centered services that make a real impact.

She also has an incredible memory. We are regularly surprised when she recalls clients and conversations from years ago with perfect clarity. Her strong sense of responsibility and genuine care help clients feel heard, respected, and supported from the very beginning.
Seda leads with precision and quiet strength. She is known for her perfectionism, sharp eye for detail, and unwavering focus. These qualities make her the go-to person for complex files.
A proud cat mom and a dedicated student in Queen’s Graduate Diploma in Immigration and Citizenship Law program, Seda is on her way to becoming an exceptional Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant.
She is also a talented cook and a person you can always go to when you need someone to truly listen. She brings consistency, care, and quiet determination to everything

Baran is the steady presence behind both secure case processing and seamless tech support.
He ensures that every document our clients share is handled with care, confidentiality, and strong data security. His dual role allows him to spot issues quickly, solve problems efficiently, and keep our systems running smoothly.
Outside of work, Baran is an excellent cook who often impresses the team with his creativity in the kitchen. Whether he's refining workflows or perfecting a recipe, he brings focus, patience, and a love for quality to everything he does.
Åžeyda brings clarity, structure, and precision to every financial detail behind the scenes.
Known for her meticulous approach, she ensures that our systems operate smoothly and ethically. Her calm and reliable presence supports not just the financial side of our work, but the entire client
experience.
She is also a new mom, balancing work and parenthood with quiet strength and grace. Her ability
to stay focused and organized, even in busy moments, continues to inspire everyone around her.

Organized, persistent, and honest, YiÄŸit has a quiet intensity that drives his work. He has a discerning ear for great music and a strong sense of quality in everything he does. Not exactly a morning person, but always dependable when it counts, he adds a unique rhythm to the team.
